NextChair is a booking and walk-in queue platform that local service businesses (such as barbershops) use to notify their customers by SMS. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
We do not sell or share your mobile number. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared for any purpose except as needed to deliver the messages you asked for (see below).
What we collect
- Your name and mobile phone number, entered at a shop's in-store kiosk/iPad or on its online booking page.
- The shop and service you selected, your place in line, and appointment details.
How we use it
- To send you SMS updates about your visit: appointment confirmations, walk-in queue alerts ("you're next"), and reminders.
- To operate the queue and booking for the specific shop you visited.
SMS messaging
- You opt in by entering your number at the shop and agreeing to receive updates about your visit.
- Message frequency varies based on your activity (typically 1–5 messages per visit).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
Sharing
We use Twilio as our messaging carrier solely to deliver the texts you requested. We do not share your number with anyone else. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention & your choices
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service. To opt out of texts, reply STOP. To request deletion of your data, contact the shop or us at the address below.
